two pretty poppets Meets Tilda Bumblebee - two pretty poppets

I’d like to introduce you to Bumblebee – the new fabric collection from Tilda! Last month I was honoured to receive an email from the lovely Fiona at 2 Green Zebras (the Australian distributor of Tilda) to ask if I would be interested in making a bag with fabric from Tilda’s upcoming new collection, Bumblebee.

Naturally I said yes, and spent the next couple of hours drooling – err I mean, pondering – over the collection image below before finally making my selection…

I couldn’t just make ONE bag…. For some uncanny reason, things sit better with me in twos… LOL 😀 So, I decided to make a Cleo Everyday Wallet and a coordinating Stand Up & Tote Notice tote bag in the small size. I am thrilled with how this set turned out and exciting as it was to post it off to Fiona, it also made me a little sad! I guess I’ll need to make another set for me at some point…

Oh I love how yours turned out Lisa – I was lucky enough to be selected to make gorgeous goodies for them as well, I can’ t wait to share mine. I love how the collection goes so well together in any mix. I adore your choices 🙂

Once I get over my hump of customs, I’m going to make some pretties just for me!
