In this step-by-step sewing tutorial, we'll show you exactly how to cut mirror image (reverse) bag panels correctly every time. 🤩

You'll learn how to prepare your pattern pieces by transferring markings to the reverse side, and then we will demonstrate two simple cutting methods — one for non-directional prints and one for directional or feature fabrics — so you can confidently cut mirrored panels without wasting fabric!🥳

      Something you’ll notice when sewing up an Andrie D Something you’ll notice when sewing up an Andrie Designs bag, tote, or clutch, is that the pattern piece for the lining is tapered slightly towards the bottom. 🤔

This is on purpose and the BIGGEST reason is to prevent saggy or bunched-up lining. Nothing is worse than finishing a bag and noticing that the lining has a saggy bottom.😭

By tapering the seam, we are able to get a nice clean and close lining on your finished bag! 🥳
