Creating a Wrist Strap

Welcome everyone! Today we have another free video tutorial for you and this one is all about creating a wrist strap! It’s a nice and straightforward process, with minimal bulky areas, and a great addition for any clutch or small bag/purse you happen to be making!

In this video we will step you through how to –

• Prepare your fabric,
• Stitch your strap,
• Secure the swivel hook.

CUT SIZES: We recommend cutting your fabric 13″ (33cm) wide and for the height, four times the size of your hardware. For your interfacing, cut a piece 13″ (33cm) wide and for the height, two times the size of your hardware. For example, for a 1″ swivel hook you would cut your fabric 13″ x 4″ (10cm), and your interfacing 13″ x 2″ (5cm).
