Hi bag makers and welcome to a super exciting pattern inspiration post for the Layla Essentials Purse – our ‘Miss February’ for the Rising Stars season for the Bag of the Month Club!! We were SO excited and honoured to be invited to participate in this season of the club last year, and it feels like it’s been quite the wait to get to this point and FINALLY be able to show you our darling little purse, Miss Layla.
The Layla Essentials Purse may be a delicate wee thing, but boy does she pack a WHOLE lot in for her petite little size!!! She features 11 card slot pockets plus an ID pocket, a notes pockets AND a zipped coin pocket as well!
She also has two additional storage pockets under the left and right card slots pockets, perfect for business cards, receipts, etc! She has a simple flap with a magnetic snap closure, which also covers up the coin pocket for added security, and an optional wrist strap attached at the top.
First up we have our gorgeous cover girl made by Rosemarie from Rosie Blooms! We love how she fussy cut that Tula Pink print to work so beautifully on the flap and card slots!!
Next up we have this stunning and super colourful creation from Leslie of Love Rubie!

We think the fabric combinations and creativity used for this Layla, made by Tiffany from Nerd Me Up, are spot on!
