Darcie Pouch

Hi all and welcome to our first pattern release for 2024, the Darcie Pouch! This little darling was originally designed and made as thank you gifts for each of the amazing bag makers who helped adorn our Quilt Market booth with their beautiful handmade bags, and now she’s all yours!

The Darcie Pouch features simple darts along the base, a zipper closure, an inner zipper pocket and a simple wrist strap for added security when in use. She’s a quick and easy sew to make for gifts, markets or yourself!

This pattern comes in a standard size, and also includes step by step instructions on how to easily modify the pattern pieces to create a custom sized Darcie Pouch as well.

First up we have our darling cover girl made by Ashley from BEAM Creative Designs! Ashley added 1″ to the width and 1″ to the height for her custom Darcie Pouch!

Check out this super cute, custom Darcie Pouch made by Elizabeth from Bitter Candy Design! Elizabeth changed things up a bit by adding just 1/2 inch to the height and taking 1″ off the width!

Next we have this gorgeous duo made by Sheila from Sheila’s Satchels and Such! Sheila made two custom sized pouches, with one being 1 1/2″ wider and the other being 1 1/2″ taller.

Check out this stunning pair made by Leanne from Clay & Co Handmade! She made a standard size, and for the custom size she added 3″ to the width!

Angelina from Izume made this lovely nature-vibe Darcie Pouch!

This floral beauty was made by Noreen!

Kerrie from Cork and Cotton Creations made a standard sized Darcie Pouch out of beautiful yellow cork!

Kerrie also made a custom sized Darcie Pouch by adding 3″ to the height and 3″ to the width!

Shirley from Handmade by Shirley H made this eye catching custom Darcie Pouch by adding 1 1/4″ to the width and 1 3/4″ to the height!

Our next maker went all out and had fun with a variety of technology to create an Andrie Designs-themed Darcie Pouch! WOW!! Thanks Rosemarie from Rosie Blooms!

Rosemarie also made this baa-licious Darcie Pouch as well!

Leslie from Love Rubie made three very different, yet equally stunning Darcie Pouches!

This super cute Darcie Pouch was made by the super creative Aimee from The Little Bird Designs!

Alana from Alana Jane Designs made this darling little animal-themed custom Darcie Pouch by adding 1″ to the width!

These two Darcie Pouches were made by Belinda from Binny’s Custom Creations! How stunning do they each look in their own right?!

Janelle from Peppa N Salt Bags made these two Darcie Pouches – a standard sized one and a custom sized one! For the custom sized Darcie Pouch, Janelle added 1 1/4″ to the height and 2 1/2″ to the width!

This gorgeous gal was made by Jayne from Ochonio!

Next we have this awesome custom-sized Darcie Pouch made by Julieanne from Sewsational Handmade Studio! Julieanne went large by adding 3 1/2″ to the width and 3 3/4″ to the height for her custom Darcie Pouch! Awesome!

Stacey from All Sewn Up by Stacey made this darling custom Darcie Pouch by adding 1 1/2″ to the width!

Milagros had fun making two very different Darcie Pouches!

Stacy from Dark Carnival Designs made this beautiful Darcie Pouch, perfect for makeup and toiletries! She added 4″ to the width for her custom Darcie Pouch!

Last, but by no means least, we have this beautiful blue Darcie Pouch made by Tiffany from Best Crafts at Tiffanys! Tiffany added 2″ to the width for her custom size!
