Fabric Storage That Works!

Hi bag makers! Today we have the next video in a new little series we are creating to show you a glimpse behind the scenes here at Andrie Designs!

As always, these videos are able to be viewed at any time via the Video Tutorials page, with new videos and tutorials being added on a regular basis. Simply click on an image to start the video, and feel free to share across social media as well!

In this video you will learn –

  • How I store quilting cotton for quick access and easy sorting,
  • A simple method to keep lycra and knit fabrics contained and neat, and
  • My favourite way to store cork so it stays tidy, clean and uncreased.

Cork is a great fabric to use as a contrast for patterns such as the Classic Carryall Handbag & Tote pattern! You can find the pattern here.

Hi Heather! Thanks for your comment! I got the bamboo baskets from Ikea many years ago. Originally they were purchased to store toys when my girls were younger before getting repurposed into my sewing room once they were no longer needed for toys. 😀
