With the increasing number of beautiful feature fabrics on the market, I felt it was time to add a pattern to my range that enabled one to show off these feature fabrics. I wanted it to have a small amount of piecing, but not so much that it overtook the chosen centrepiece for the outer panels.
To make it a relatively easy sew, I felt a simple magnetic snap was just the right type of closure for this design. With a chunky 1.5″ wide shoulder strap and optional piping, it can be great fun ‘auditioning’ fabrics to piece together for this bag! I felt two sizes would give more options and so arrived at Coffee Date size (smaller) and Shopaholic size (larger).
This design has sooooo much potential and I can not wait to see what you do with it! Enjoy!
