A few months ago a most exciting thing happened in the world of two pretty poppets (that I’ve had to keep secret for all this time!!!)… I was approached by the lovely Fiona from 2 Green Zebras to see if I would be interested in participating in their upcoming Tilda Showcase!
2 Green Zebras is the Australian wholesaler of Tilda fabrics and in preparation for the release of two brand new fabric collections – Cabbage Rose and Memory Lane – Fiona was organising a showcase to travel around Australia throughout September 2016.
After a bit of thought, I decided my upcoming Roll With It Tote pattern would be perfect for these fabrics and show a ‘softer side’ to the design. Little did I realise that was the easy part! The hard part was choosing exactly which prints I would use for each size, and in what combination!!!
*** The Roll With It Tote has since been released and is now available here ***
After much pondering, I decided the large size Roll With It Tote would be made with a couple of gorgeous prints from the Cabbage Rose collection, and the small size would be made with some of the pretty Memory Lane prints… Ooh la la…
They say a picture paints a thousand words so instead of rambling on about how beautiful these prints are, I’ll leave you to enjoy these photos and close ups of my two Roll With It Tote bags. 🙂
To see more gorgeous projects in the Tilda Showcase, make sure you check out Tilda Australia’s Facebook page (part of 2 Green Zebras) here and also their Instagram account here.
If you happen to be one of those lucky stores or customers around Australia who has seen my Roll With It Totes (and the other showcase items) in the flesh (fabric?), please do let me know! You can find out more about the Roll With It Tote pattern here.
I’d love to know which collection you prefer more, if you can even choose!! Is it Cabbage Rose…? Or Memory Lane…? Feel free to leave a comment and let me know!
Until next time! Lisa x

Lisa, that is so awesome for you. The Tilda fabrics are gorgeous, I can’t choose between the two collections! Are the fabrics available in the US?
Thank you so much Pat!! Yes it’s a beautiful range and the items made for the showcase show sooooo many different applications for it! Very inspiring!! I believe the fabrics would be available in the US? Perhaps check fabric.com? I will see if I can find out for you 🙂
Do you have any Cabbage Rose 481228. I need 30cm please?
Hi Pamela, thanks for your enquiry. Unfortunately, I don’t sell the fabric sorry so I can’t help you there. Perhaps try a google search for Australian fabric stores that sell Tilda? All the best in your search! 🙂
