Hi all! Welcome to the next instalment of my weekly live chats called Ask Andrie which are engaging, educational, and at times, without a doubt, entertaining as well!
Today I showed you a close up look at my black and gold Shades of Yesterday Tote Bag which was recently judged in the Road to California quilt show (conference). You can find out more about the quilt show here.
You can find the Shades of Yesterday Tote Bag pattern here.
I explained what type of thread I used to stitch the gold stitching, and briefly also touched on how to use threads that are different to the ‘norm’.
We touched on how to use sew-in foam, and again chatted a bit about interfacing and fleece/foam, and their role in bag making (with reference to the previous video as well which you can find here).
We also talked about which Andrie Designs patterns are great for beginners, particularly those very new to bag making.
The weekly Ask Andrie live chats are held in my patterns group on Facebook which you can find here and in the pinned post of the group, you will find a countdown timer counting down to the next live chat.
Live chats are a chance for bag makers and sewing enthusiasts alike to ‘meet’ me and ask me any and all of those burning questions you have so get those questions ready and I’ll hopefully see you then!
