Box It Up Clutch

Introducing the Box It Up Clutch by Andrie Designs! This classy little clutch has a boxed base and four different outer top panels to choose from, giving you maximum flexibility to make a clutch to suit every need and every occasion!

The Box It Up Clutch has a full zipper closure, an inner zipper pocket and a wrist strap, making it secure and able to be carried hands-free. Clear and concise construction techniques make this a quick and easy sew!

This pattern has 15 pages of clear, detailed instructions. It is suitable for an advanced beginner sewer. All pattern pieces have been digitally drawn. Wary of zippers? Don’t be! Throughout the pattern I give detailed and comprehensive instructions and diagrams to make adding the zippers an easy and stress-free experience.

The finished size of the Box It Up Clutch is as follows:

• Width – 9″ (23cm)

• Curved
• Horizontal
• Vertical
• Plain (no piecing)

Materials Required:

• Outer Panels – TOP (e.g. quilting cotton) – Up to 1/4yd (23cm)
• Outer Panels – BOTTOM (e.g. quilting cotton) – 28” x 5” (71cm x 13cm)
• Zipper Pocket (e.g. quilting cotton) – 9” x 12” (23cm x 30cm)
• Lining (e.g. quilting cotton) – 28″ x 9” (71cm x 23cm)
• Strap, Strap Connector, Zipper Tab (e.g. quilting cotton) – 18” x 5” (46cm x 13cm)
• Light-Medium Weight Fusible Interfacing (i.e. Pellon Shapeflex SF101, Legacy Shapeflex L-SF101) (NOTE: based on a 40”/100cm width) – 1/2yd (46cm)
• By Annie’s Soft and Stable Foam (or equivalent foam) OR Fusible Fleece (i.e. Pellon Thermolam 971F, Vilene H640) – 28″ x 9” (71cm x 23cm)
• 1 Swivel Hook – 1” (25mm)
• 1 D-Ring – 1” (25mm)
• 1 Coordinating Long Pull Zipper (i.e. #4.5 YKK) – 14” (36cm)
• 1 Coordinating Dress Zipper – 9” (23cm)
• Coordinating thread, scissors and general sewing supplies including fabric glue/tape.
