I made both these bags. Large and small for Christmas gifts. I had never made a bag before but the directions were very easy to follow and I was very pleased with the results.

I have made 2 of these bags for my Godson who is a VW fanatic. One of the bags has VW Beetles on the flap & interior pocket, the other has VW Combies on the flap & inner pocket. I have also put a key holder tab in both bags.
The directions are super clear to follow, the pattern is a winner for me.

I’m an absolute beginner and someone directed me here! Since then I’ve made about 10 of these bags small and large, even a Christmas one! I’ve tried a couple of other bags and nothing is as simple and easy to follow as this design! I want to buy all the patterns on here! They are fantastic can’t wait to start my next project! 😊😊

Loved the pattern and the fact it came with two sizes. I made the small one and I loved it. I used a patchwork of tweed on the flap and was very pleased with how it turned out. Very clear instructions.

Easy to follow directions and an overall simple feeling bag. I made a few modifications to make the bag feel more upscale and more structured.
Overall, I will make this pattern again and I have been enjoying it so far.

I have made both the sizes. What an amazing pattern. Was so simple, yet turned out just perfect. Have filled with chocolates, as it’s for my (grown) children for Easter. I throughly enjoyed making them . Thank you so much for the wonder “freebie”

Made 3 of these so far, and it won’t be the last. Nice and roomy. Goes together very quickly. I added 2 magnetic snaps instead of 1 on the large size. Best method for construction that I’ve seen.

Easy pattern to follow. Great result. Have made a couple now, and all perfect. Would love a pattern for one bigger to fit a laptop into though.

I really loved this pattern! As written, it didn’t fit me crossbody and I had to add several inches. So I would just advise to measure a crossbody strap you already like and go with that measurement. The lady I made it for sent me a nice note saying that it really fit flat against her body and the strap was super comfortable. She just absolutely loves it and I was really proud of how it came out. I also thought there was a lot of room for customization for my next one. I would absolutely buy from Andrie Designs again!

Ive made the small version of this bag, have 1 large waiting for hardware and have 3 more cut out!
I added a zip pocket to the bags on the outer back.
This pattern is super easy to follow and great for beginners. It also lends itself to personalisation and additions.
Great pattern and would highly recommend!

Great pattern! The first on e made was with denim, a paisley print and a solid colour for the
strap. I have fabric cut out for 2 more and I’m just waiting for magnetic snaps to arrive. Very clear, easy to follow instructions. I’m sure I will make this bag m any times.

Whipped up one for my 18-mo granddaughter who loves carrying a “poos”. It turned out SO cute that I’ve decided to make one for each of my grands as a useful Easter “basket”! Four smalls and two larges coming up!
For my granddaughter’s bag, I used some of the gingham lining fabric to bind the flap, which added a sweet little touch. I’m so excited to give it to her!
